The Declaration of the Faith of the Inborn Slavic Faith (according to the Western Slavonic Union of the Slavic Faith)
We believe in the Slavic Gods. We believe in the wisdom, goodness and beauty hidden under Their faces. Slavic Gods are the source of life, power and happiness. Faith in Them is the maintained by us our heritage.
Slavic Gods, worshiped for thousands of years, are for us the most beautiful and closest to heart image of the Divine Power. The Gods are hierarchical, multifaceted, mutually complementary order. Selected The order reveled from the chaos.
We believe the Gods give meaning to our existence, we believe they protect from the oblivion deeds of our ancestors, us, our children and grandchildren. What is the most valuable will be passed on in the eternal cycle of reviving life.
We acknowledge, that human death is the end of some stage. It is a condition of the transition into newer, constantly changing form of being. Dropping the old, already exhausted form. The reward for the noble and persistent is entering into the ever higher levels of existence, more conscious, more significant, closer to the Gods.
Human knowledge has not reached the level which allows arbitrarily predict the nature of the universe, but we know about his relentless growth. We can integrate this growth. The continuous growth fills with content our lives and gives us the faith in the survival of our actions.
We practice the strict ethical rules. Slavic faith believer lives decently, honestly and nobly. He condemns laziness, cowardice, recklessness and hypocrisy. As the most despicable he considers the betrayal.
We are enemies of the pettiness, above all, we condemn the lack of will to get rid of it. We cultivate what is the best in us. We assume the responsibility for our actions. We grow and create, this is intended for us.
We are the defenders of what is our, our families and our community. We defend the right to live on our own territory, we defend the space of our civilization. This obligation results from the most obvious laws of Nature.
Our rituals are the integrating in to the rhythm of Nature, finding wisdom in the rules of Nature and the Divine laws included in it. Our rituals are the nursing of ties with the ethnic and spiritual community. The communal prayers and sharing of suppers. The reverence to ancestors. The offerings to Gods. We bring back the meaning of the ancient native festivities.
We put faith in our understanding, the source of human knowledge. We put faith in our forces, the cause of continuous transformation. We believe in the soul, the divine element in man.
