Some scenes from Dušan Makavejev’s 1971 film ‚WR: Mysteries of the Organism,’ which he said was „in part, a personal response to the life and teachings of Dr. Wilhem Reich.” It’s a next-level film worth checking out in full — this is just some of the documentary footage about Reich, with whom I was obsessed for a period of time as a student at The New School (where Reich taught in the early ’40s). It features footage from Reich’s laboratory (Orgonon) in Rangeley, Maine, and interviews with locals who knew him.
